The Ohio County Food Security Team, chaired by the Ohio County FRN, the Ohio County Food Security Team was the first team of its kind in the state and a model that has since been replicated across West Virginia. The team is comprised of 14 organizations focused on improving food access for Ohio County residents. The team meets to discuss everything from mobile food pantries and the Ohio County Schools' Backpack Program to Blessings Boxes and food insecurity among children and seniors.

FRN Executive Director Claudia Raymer McKay is a board member of the Northern Panhandle Continuum of Care and the Ohio County FRN is an active member of the CoC, grassroots partnership of social service providers in Brooke, Hancock, Ohio, Marshall, and Wetzel Counties. This organization works to streamline services, identify service gaps, address the needs of people experiencing homelessness.
The Ohio County Family Resource Network oversees the Ohio County Foster Closet located at the WV DoHS. Foster parents and kinship guardians can access the closet through their caseworker.
